The University’s new $75M Student Performing Arts Center will be constructed along Woodland Walk and 33rd Street, providing multiple spaces for teaching, rehearsals, and student performances.
The design includes a 300-seat proscenium theater, a 125-seat studio theater with flexible performance and rehearsal capabilities, five rehearsal studios, support spaces, and a loading dock. The center will target LEED silver certification.
Construction on the Student Performing Arts Center began in summer of 2024 with anticipated completion in 2026.
