Construction Announcements: Paley Bridge

Paley Bridge will be closed beginning Thursday, June 20, 2024, and will reopen Friday, August 30, 2024, weather and schedule permitting. During this time, the bridge will be removed from its foundations and placed in the parking area behind the Penn Squash Center and Tse Center. 32nd Street will be closed to vehicular traffic south of The Palestra, the parking lot behind the Squash Center will be inaccessible, and circulation will be limited to pedestrians only. Until construction is completed, the nearest pedestrian crossing of the SEPTA tracks will be Walnut St to the north, and South Street to the south.
