The Enerjuicer opened in Franklin’s Table Food Hall in April, creating freshly made smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and acai bowls.  Their convenient, made-to-order nutritious options are ideal for breakfast, a refreshing midday break, or refueling post-workout.

 Root & Sprig, a fast‑casual concept by an award-winning Top Chef, opened at the Perelman School of Medicine in June. The cafe features wellness‑focused meals and flexible dine‑in and grab‑and‑go options, with catering and delivery services available.

 A new specialty coffee destination, inspired by Yemen’s rich coffee heritage, has arrived in University City with the opening of Port Coffee Co., offering drinks ranging from classic favorites to signature creations, alongside a selection of pastries and take-home beans.

 Paper Boy, a new stationary store concept by the owner of Hello World, opened up in early August along Walnut Street, celebrating the joy of paper and offering fun alternatives to online correspondence, with journals, greetings cards, notepads, writing instruments, and more. 

Monarch Yoga also opened at 3421 Walnut Street in August, offering all-levels signature classes like Power Flow, Power Strength, Slow Flow, and Deep Stretch Yin in their heated studio. Monarch also offers outdoor programming open to all, including 5 classes each week in May through October at Yoga on the Banks, a longstanding outdoor series on the Schuylkill River.
